A CHEQUE for £1,000 was recently presented by Barclays Business Manager Stuart Hayes to Launceston Chamber of Commerce in support of the newly introduced ‘Loyalty Scheme’.
Barclays is committed to supporting local businesses and growth, and its involvement in Launceston’s Loyalty Scheme is just one example, along with the ‘National Loan Guarantee Scheme’ recently introduced, where businesses can get an upfront cashback on business loans and commercial mortgages.
Because Barclays has a local representation of business managers, it enables staff to support local businesses and also have a first-hand understanding of local economy. Barclays recently launched the ‘Barclays Cashback Finance Scheme’ for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), which gives them access to the National Loan Guarantee Scheme launched by the chancellor.
