Neighbours pay tribute to ‘a real old school gent’
Wednesday, 25 April 2012
HOME: The sheltered accommodation premises at Trecarn Close, Launceston — the residence of Mr Thomas ‘Tom’ Lang.
THE gentleman who passed away at Derriford Hospital following an alleged incident at the sheltered accommodation premises in Trecarn Close, Launceston on Tuesday, April 17 has had tributes paid to him by former friends and fellow residents.
Mr Tom Lang was 91-years-old upon his passing away at the Plymouth hospital, and whilst his neighbours were shocked by this news, they were also quick to offer their thoughts on a man who was clearly held in high regard.
Tom Stone-North lived next door to Mr Lang and said although he was a quiet man, the former Launceston College Assistant Caretaker was also polite, courteous and charming to be around.
